Your Time Makes a Difference
Whether for an hour, a day or a regular, recurring slot, HCFS needs volunteers at the Corner Cupboard. Volunteers are trained in order to best interact with our clients. HCFS creatively works with youth and church groups for larger-scale projects including Eagle Scouts.
Volunteers who enjoy fashion will appreciate volunteering in our retail and resale store, Random Hangers. Random Hangers provides for families in need and generates retail sales for local and out-of-town shoppers where 100% of the proceeds support HCFS programs.
Ways To Volunteer
Corner Cupboard
Corner Cupboard is open Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00AM to 12:00PM.

Random Hangers
Random Hangers is open Tuesday – Friday from 10:00AM to 4:00PM and Saturday 10:00AM to 2:00PM.
Court-Ordered Community Service
Arrangements can be made by contacting HCFS for court ordered community service.
If your crime was theft, you may NOT complete your court ordered community service with HCFS.
Rules of Engagement:
- Your cell phone must be left during service hours with the HCFS front office.
- Come prepared to fill out a community service application.
- Provide a copy of your Texas Drivers License or Identification.
- Provide documentation from the court or parole or probation officer.
